This was a hiatus project I did as a consultant for FCB India. ‘Sindoor Khela’ was conceived by the ineffable Swati Bhattacharya and I collaborated with her talented Delhi team to script and package this powerful case. The initiative by Times of India, became the most awarded Indian campaigns of 2018 picking the famed D&AD Yellow Pencil. It was recently voted top10 advertising campaigns in the world in WARC report.

‘Open Door Project’ - is a path breaking initiative by Millennium Schools and FCB India to open the doors of private elite schools to educate the kids from weaker economic sections. At the Cannes 2019, David Droga, described it as an idea that can be scaled-up at a global level from ‘Atlanta to Peru’ and contribute genuine value at a sustainable level. The Project was piloted by Shantanu Prakash, Founder Millennium Schools and Swati Bhattacharya, Chief Creative Officer FCB. It has picked multiple metals including Cannes Gold Lion, Clio Gold and Spikes Asia Grand Prix.

There are times when a brand needs more than a tagline to bring about change. 'Let's Uncomplicate' wasn’t just a grammatically odd slug I was lucky to get away with. At Apollo Munich, it became a guiding light to demystify the category. And almost a decade later still continues to be their raison d’être.
It would be fastidious (even for me) to share all the work done during my time as the creative head. But it is totally worth mentioning - all of it was a result of an incredible team of co-conspirators and one helluva client who patiently put up with all my persnicketiness. Here are a few pieces that shaped both me and the brand.
